I am pleased to be returning to teaching after serving the University in the role of Special Assistant to the President (eight years) and, most recently, as Assistant Provost, Plans and Programs. In these roles, I managed strategic planning, institutional accreditation, and served as the liaison to the Department of Higher Education.

I  am particularly pleased to resume work with several ongoing projects relevant to the study of the Bible as Literature, an area on which I have spent extensive time over the last five years, and to several projects previously completed.
