I am pleased to have been teaching in the Department of English and Modern Language for the last several years, returning to teaching after serving the University in the role of Special Assistant to the President (2000-2009) and, briefly, as Assistant Provost, Plans and Programs. In these roles, I managed strategic planning, institutional accreditation, and served as the liaison to the Department of Higher Education.
Likewise, I am particularly pleased that my text Reading the Bible as Literature: An Introduction has now been published by Polity Press. http://www.polity.co.uk/book.asp?ref=9780745635088 . I have now had opportunity to teach using this textbook--generally with successful outcomes--in both traditional and online teaching environments.Reading the Bible as Literature Web
