You will be introduced to the forms and kinds of literature in the Bible, its history and chronology, contributing civilizations, themes and symbols, and its characters. Of course, no one course can cover comprehensively all sixty-six books of the canon now known as the Bible; most of your work will be within the Old Testament.
Beyond the basic and essential, you will find sufficient material to direct you into advanced study. You will be helped through each phase of your study. If you are using this help system for a non-credit study of the Bible, you will be interested in viewing only the Welcome, Course Information, Objectives and the Schedule topics within your Contents page.
